Description
A Philips bakelittányéros hangszórója három változatban készült. A tárgyi, 2015-ös hangszóró 4 polusú mágneses meghajtó szerkezettel működik. Kupos membránja úgy illeszkedik a befoglaló, hangfalként és reflektorként alkalmazott tányéros szerketetbe, hogy a bakelit felületek a kónus által keltett hangrezgéseket koncentrálva sugározzák a hangszóró tengelyének az irányába. Működése eképpen a tölcséres hangszórók irányító, erősítő hatásához is hasonlítható. Gyártását 1926/27-ben kezdték, de még a harmincas évek közepén is forgalomban voltak jó hangzásuk következtében.
